GUYS - let's remember this ride is the LONG HAUL - I will never say NOT to weigh everyday - but we know past the 2 year mark that losing is done OVER TIME - not every minute.

I see a lot of us posting we are up a lb or two from a couple days - but it's going to take WEEKS to really knock the pounds off - I try to post my weight on my page every month - a full 30 days allows me to see my TRUE progress or regression.  the day to day would drive me CRAZY!!!!

The message - set your plan and stay the course - our bodies are no longer microwaves for fat - we are coal fired ovens and some of us let the fire go out!  LOL - so we have to restock, relight and STOKE that fire till it's back up and running hot.

GET ON YOUR PLAN - you know what to do!

Hey Mack Mama, I was just wondering is it normal for your weight to fluctuate a pound of two daily. Just asking because some days the scale says I'm down and within two days I'm up two pounds. This has been happening frequently.  By the end of the week everything is back on course, this is confusing the heck out me.
Am I doing something wrong or is this normal?
And yes a sister needs to go to her support meeting and see her nutritionist.

Yes - that is totally normal.  And when you are near your period - it may swing by up to five lbs.

I usually use the 5 day rule to 'prove' weight gain is really gain.  If the number stays up for 5 days in a row - my azz is getting bigger - but if it shifts, then I know it's water weight and I probably need to increase my water intake.

Yep it's my water intake, I'm good if I get in 32 oz of water a day, now I know I have to increase my water intake. Must do better
Thanks momma........this is something to remember.

I weight once a week just to keep myself in check..if the scale is creeping up then I know what I gotta do to get things back on track....it my maintenace reflex I guess...to me its easier to get rid of 5 to 10lbs than it is to get rid of 20 to 30lbs...catch the evil lbs early lol
