Real Talk You Can't Compare
When I first joined OH I was stuck on the before and after pics...and surgery dates...I would actually sit up and figure out how much a person would lose per month! I had it bad comparing my loss to others!
Soon I realized that EVERYONE is DIFFERENT...not everyone loses weight the same way...hence the various boby types...stall times etc
Seriously you can't look at someone else and assume that you should be losing the same way...you can't compare
I just felt a need to put that out there.....Neehaj I did you job today...LOL

Since we are on the subject let me add:
1)Just like peeps THINK you should lose xxx pounds within a certain amount of time ALTHOUGH it took you TWICE as long to lose it.
2) It is not going to always be EASY to lose weight after that first year or so. MOST RNYers will lose weight at the beginning with little or no effort. Just WAIT until that honeymoon period is over and your hunger come back at full course!! That is why it is important to pick up good eating/exercise habits at the beginning!!
adding a bonus - just because you have lost weight it is not cute UNLESS you were blessed to end up with a flat tummy,too tuck in your shirt!!

RoRo you are SO SO SO SO RIGHT!EVERYONE is different, hell I am even different in comparison to myself with the last surgery. With the band yes I initially lost really fast and went from 247-205 in 4 months. The loss began in my face, shoulders, arms, and thighs. My tummy hung unmercifully and I ended up with an infection in my navel. Yuk.
This time, with the revision I started out at 282 and currently weigh 235 in 2 months, the loss has been all booty, legs, and tummy, I will NOT, I REPEAT, will NOT need a tummy tuck, no sagging whatsoever
. I am just now noticing weight loss in my face. This stuff is so weird because I was stressin over the fact that I had to lose at least 40 lbs to get back to my original highest weight of 247, but the current loss has me just as small as I was at 205
. All I can suggest to ANYONE is to LOG THOSE INCHES, if you are at a stall, start taking measurements because THAT will tell the story for sure.
