There is no such thing as a dumb question. From what I have read and heard because they blow your stomach up with air during surgery. The Gas-X helps to relieve some of the trapped gas in your stomach.

Wishing you the best on your surgery my prayers and thought are with you.

when you wake up after the surgery, ask your nurse for those hospital socks with the grips on the bottom. make sure you get the size that fits.  then ask for a gown that fits so you won't have to have 1/2 ya azz showing as you walk down the hall....and don't settle for two gowns either. make them give you one that fits.

i would wish you luck but you won't need luck. you'll do just fine.

You sound prepared and it's normal to be nervous.  Wishing you the absolute best and God Bless!
