Today is my last day for blened food. I have been having a hard time blending my food.
It takes away the beauty and taste of the food, so I've been doing it off and on. I know thats
not how it works. I don't think that I'm getting all my proteins in because I'm alway bloated
it seem like I'm full when I know I did not eat anything. My scale is going up then down sometimes
I feel like giving up and I know I can not do that. If there is anyone that can help Please!!!!!

All I can say is get creative, try new things and relax.  I liked spicy food and still do so I blended kidney beans with onions hot peppers and other seasonings

.....if you want the scale to move then move it...I am dead serious put it somewhere you are not likely to go get it.  Like kicking it waaaay under the bed or at the top of your closet.  This is your journey and don't let numbers rule you!

I hardly weighed in the beginning and let the clothes or the inches tell me I was doing good.  Just stay the course and eventually the scale will move again.  Good Luck and be strong!

Hi Girldfriend,

Glad you found your way to the BAF.  I told you is the place to be.  Took me years to find it!  Don't forget to check out the tip of the day over the past week.  Your issue is discussed.

That gassy bloating will eventually go away.  I had to do supplements only yesterday so I'd stop feeling Friday's breakfast LOL.  Our pouches are still new...

You're in one of the most difficult phases having to adjust to new routines, new foods, and not to a new stomach. Take you time and don't freak out over numbers. You will lose. Focus on finding foods that you can at least tolerate. I found a few things and stuck with them throughout the phase.

When my scale doesn't move, I just tell myself that my body is making adjustments and will move when it's time. If you're not losing pounds, you're probably losing inches.
Keep the faith! You'll be fine.
BTW, don't compare your weight loss to others. That will really drive you crazy.

First of all the order your surgeon adds the food consistency back in is key for your weight loss success. You say you're having a "hard time blending food and doing it off and on" what are you doing the "off" times are you eating real food or downstepping back to your liquids? To have the best result follow your plan to the t do not deviate from it especially in the beginning. This whole honeymoon period is really giving you time to create healthy lifestyle changes that will make you successful for the rest of your life. The weight will come off during this time whether you do it or not due to the food restriction and malabsorption. Which will make this "another failed diet attempt". So get moving you didn't mention what type of activites you are doing but I walked an awful lot in the beginning and still do to this day. Get active drink your water and get your protein in the weigh will come off. Although we've all made the decision to take the journey its still an individual walk. You meet people along the way but the journey is still your own. As long as you're doing what you're suppose to and not give up at the end of the day you will be successful in your own right. The only time for regrets and disappointment is when you didn't take advantage of the tool and time you had.

We all can give advice based on our experience I weighed myself every day for the first 9 months and now I still do it once or twice a week. But that's me and my way of holding myself accountable if you're becoming a slave to the scale and judging your journey by it then commit to weighing once a week or even once a month and let your clothes be your guide.

Feel free to hit me up on the BL or a private message if you want to talk!
