Update on Mama
God is still good. 
Mama is getting stronger and doing well with her therapy. The last time I saw her she was so weak that she could barely sit up straight or use her hands. PT has been focusing on improving her core strength and now she’s able to get around by herself in a wheelchair and is learning to stand again. The occupational therapists are showing her how to do everyday stuff that she’ll need to be able to do around the house when she goes home. Speech therapists have also been working with her to improve her overall cognitive skills and sense of recall. I could tell that she was much “sharper" when I spoke to her.
The doctor removed the staples from the stump and the edges have healed together nicely. Mama has been wearing a compression stocking on it and she says it feels a lot more comfortable now that those staples are gone. All is looking well for things to proceed on schedule for the fitting of her prosthesis.
Heartfelt thanks to all of you that prayed, posted, sent PM’s and even those who were silent but still hoped for things to turn out well for her.

for her and you & your family to help her through this rough time
in her life, I sit here with tears in my eyes because I truly understand
what all of you and your Mother is going through, my Dad lost his
left leg so I feel for you all. GOD bless you and your family.
