I did LF/FF Yogurt, LF String cheese, soups~any kind of beans; pinto, split pea, barley. LF egg, chicken, shrimp salad. Broiled crab cakes/mini balls are my favorite. Also, I cook most of my foods with a scoop of whey non-flavored protein mix to boost the protein.

Hope this helps!

I understand...I lived on split pea soup for a week because I was at a lost for new ideas. My mother in law makes me a bunch of crab, shrimp balls I freeze them and take what I need for that day.

Oh, oatmeal is good to. You can buy it and keep it in at your desk. Quick and easy meal

Please tell me about crab and shrimp balls.  What's in them besides the obvious.  I guess what I really want is the recipe.  LOL

Had to call the mother in law. Here it is:

1 egg beaten
2 tablespoon low fat mayo
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon or more if you like it Old Bay seasoning
Hot sauce if you like it spicy ( I do)
1 lb. lump crab meat
1/2-1 cup bread crumbs
Salt and pepper to taste

Oven to 400 use a baking sheet.

mix together the egg, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, and hot sauce. Stir in the bell pepper and scallion mix together.  Put the remaining bread crumbs in a shallow dish make them the size of small balls and roll in the bread crumbs.

bake for 10-15 minutes or until brown. cook 5-10 if you are to freeze for later.

Sonja,

This is my second week back to work. What work for me I preplan all o my meals for the week. First week I did oatmeal or a protein drink for  breakfast and I had crab cakes or grilled shrimp and one day I had soup for lunch. I have yogurt and SF jello for snack and so far it working out. Even today when they had a working lunch with Pizza. I came prepared with Turkey and cheese rolls with 3 Turkey pepperoni and I love it. The pizza smell didn't bother me at all.
