1 MONTH POST OP PHOTOS

i have posted April photos and weights on them. My current weight now is 277!! wow! i have been tripping myself out with the weight and size thing. i TRULY cannot see a difference but everyone has told me THEY do. I have had several WOW moments but for some reason i cant seem to grasp them, Its like a disbelief!
1st WOW - went to the store to look for blouses because i dont really have that many more smaller ones, so i took my regular size 22 in and some size 20's. i REFUSED to try the 22's on first fearing i would actually get my fat butt in them....lol so i tried the 20's on first lo and behold they fit!!!!! i was standing there looking in the dressing room mirror like.......i must be getting PUNKED.....lol. i felt sooo weird but yet afraid to be little happy.....i have not gotten to the embrasing part i think.
2nd WOW - went to a friends house i had not seen sinse august on 08, she doesnt know i had the surgery done, but she does know i was contiplating on having it done. So when she seen me, she said gurl.......you have lost a LOT of weight, you look good, what are you doing, did you go on and have the surgery done?, i said im dieting, doing weigh****chers.....lol i am going to tell her i had it done but i forgot to tell her what my process status was and things went so fast after i got my date. but i thought that was somewhat of a wow moment being that she hasnt seem me sinse last year august and didnt know i had the surgery done.
3rd WOW - went to another friend of mine house i hadnt seen sinse july or august of 08, and she said she had some pants fi mi, she brought me out some pants and i looked at them and said gurl mi caant fit these this is a 18w, she said but dem stretch, so i just took them anyway. when i came home i didnt want to try them of for fear of getting dissappointed, but i put them on anyway, and gues what???????>..........the dam things fit, and they were a little bit loose. i said OH NO, i cannot be in an 18w!!! is this possible????????????????????? i guess i can now where a 18w to a size 20. but how with these fat azz thighs of mine???????
4th WOW- went to to dots and ashley stewarts to look for me a blouse. i picked up a 2x in dots thinking it will work.....NOPE had to get a 1x and it fitted nicely......!!! then went to ashley stewarts and picked up a 20 and THAT didnt work, so i had to get a 18 and that fitted ok!!!!! now i did notice that some of the 18's and 20's i tried on was either a little tighter on me or looser on me, i guess it depends on the material, but i guess i can now pick up 18's or 20's for the time being!!
5th WOW- went to burlington with my mother........WHY I DONT KNOW BECAUSE SHE GOT ON MY EVERLASTING NERVE!!....LOL she was acting like she had the surgery and looking for clothes for herself.....just overly excited!! she over there picking up 22's!! talking about oooohhh this is real cute you should get this! i said no i am not getting all these clothes because i am not really sure what size i actually where or will be in. so i picked up that good ole 18w pants, 1x top and tried them on. i think my mom didnt think i could fit that 18W, when i came out of the dressing room, she goes THATS THE 18W??? i said yeah, she said oh.....ok!. i told her i didnt like that big moo moo grandma looking top she wanted me to try on, so i went and got a different type of blouse and tried it on, she said what size is that, i said EXTRA LARGE.....lol she was like WOOOWWW!!....lol
so those are some of the wow moments i have experienced, now if my mind can catch da hell up wid mi loss i may be arrite!!!!!!...........lol

Thanks for sharing, and congratulations. It's amazing how all of these "WOW" moments add up to a good feeling about self. I think that we voluptuous ladies, tend to over estmate our size anyway. I have gone into a store and just picked up something that is way too big just because I know it will fit and then I don't have to feel that pain of it being too tight. Also, I notice that when I look at the before and afters pics, sometimes I will see somebody and say, Oh, that's how I look. ANd then when I check their BMI or their weight, I see that this person is heavier than me by quite a bit.
ALthough I am not yet on the losers bench, I am sure that in a very short time girlfriend, you will accept your new body that is emerging, and your new life that is being born. Just enjoy every second.....
