OT: Sex in the City vs. Fuggin in da Hood

Ayy yo,

I was bored the other day and I watched that Sex in the City movie on HBO and the whole time I was watching it, it just felt like a movie to me - ya know, nothing really bad ever happens to the people in it, no one wears a scar from a previous fight or incident - a real chick flick.  Shees.

But what really stuck out to me is that these women in the movie didn't want to be defined by their sex lives or rather have their lives be defined for them but yet sprinkled in with some sex here and there.  That's a good look right there.

My questions to you, BAF, is:

1.  How come when sistas go at it like these chicks it's considered Whorish By Nature?
2.  What could brothas do to have a Sex in the City type of lifestyle that don't end up in keyed cars, hang up phone calls at 3am, and ex-girlfriends popping by on a Friday/Saturday night to not holla but "yell at them" for being dumped?
3.  Where in the world do we find 4 sistas who can stay good friends for the entire length of a two hour movie let alone more than 2 or three years?
4.  How come none of the women in the movie ever ended up with a baby-daddy situation?

I knew what you meant in your original message...I was just being silly...and I braced myself for your inevitable kick arss response.....I knew this person that would take movies & TV programs so seriously and I would always use that line....it seemed funny at the time....LOL! Yes...I try to be a good sport....all in good fun. 2- Bruhs need to stop lying and making chicks THINK they are more than just the bump.  I have told MANY a nicca that - you bruhs get a lil heated when you realize it ain't nothing but the moment - I have been fronted out a couple times......

3 - I don't know where you find them hoes - I personally don't roll with other biotches - even the friends i got NOW got a problem with my 'logic' and approach

4 - did you miss that MIRANDA had a baby for Steve and that's how they got hitched?  Watch the series and not just the movie at the end cuz..... Steve is her baby daddy - he just married her.  now THAT'S something BROTHAS rarely do.......
