question about protein
Isopure is known to be one of the BEST Protein drinks out there. Not necessarily taste but quality wise. So you made a good choice. Isopure is one of the protein drinks I can actually tolerate. I am not crazy about any of them, so I usually hook mine up. I usually get vanilla because you can do more with it. I make a smootie by adding banana, strawberries, and or pineapples. I have also added some dry oatmeal and mxed in with it. It actually is pretty good after you do all that. You can google some good recipes to try to spice up your drinks
I use Atkins Advantage. I get them from Walmart however need to find a wholesale place for them. 15 grams of protein, 1 gm of sugar, 160 calories, and on 1-2 grams carbs depending on flavor. I spent a lot of money before finding something that I like. Like MM said, pre shakes cost more however, I remember spending
money on food. Good luck with your upcoming surgery

Trader Joe Soy Vanilla, 0 carbs, 20g protein. I think I paid $12 for the tub? Reminds me of the Shaklee texture from back in the day...not all that smooth but I like it. It's good, I mix instant coffee, soy milk & coco. VERY good!
Also tried GNC Whey Vanilla, $26 for tub. Strawberry was nasty, vanilla good.
