I have what I would call a senior citizen  co-worker   who has been paying me compliments lately on the fact that Im losing and looking better.   She's close to 70 and kinda sassy.

Thats all good.....but she's been saying it in a not so nice way....

Her typical phrase goes  something like  this " Who's husband are you after ???? "

I have been laughing it off lately,  but that is so not cool.

Especially since I dont DO husbands....even when I was in hunt for my own,  I respected people's marriage vows.........

Should I say something to her...and if so what........ cause its getting old now and she seems to keep saying it  no matter who we are in front of  ???

In life,  and especially on this journey there are sure to be days when you falter and give in.......just remember to never give up.

girl - let that old lady make it.  Nothing you can say will change her.

My mother thinks biotches in a nice dress are ready to go out whoring on the town.  Can't tell her nothing - she's only 67..... LOL!

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

She tried to give him to me already jokingly...........but I hear he's had like 4 heart attacks and a stroke.

I quickly said No thank you.....

4 heart attacks and a stroke???  She's looking for someone to help the life insurance/pension claim process along.  Tell her for a sizable cut you will help her--

hey....i'd say something but, just pull her to the side and say.....miss so so...thank you for all the compliments but, im not trying to be mean or disrespectful but, can you lightening up on the husband comments....etc....

this is just for me personally...if it bothers me and i can't seem to let it go because it keeps resurfacing then I need to address it....

i hope it all works out...

Yeah I might have to do that if it continues......but she's not your typical sweet old lady.

She's quite sassy and might get loud.  I gotta seee....

Maybe thats how she gives a compliment....I know she has a serious weight  phobia.....

only cause she's rail thin and would much rather smoke than eat.  I also heard her talk about big people before in a not so good way.  I was quite disgusted by her ignorance.

wow ....thats kinda tough cause as a kid you are taught to respect the elderly but at the same time she dodsnt have the right to make you feel uncomfortable ...espeacially in the workplace.  So pull her aside and talk to her and if that dosnt work you may have to put manners aside  and go for broke
