not losing weight, but gaining muscle
hey eerbody
i have been going to the gym for at least 3 days a week(more like 5) for like a month, and have been working out in general since i was about 3 months out.... i am almost 8 months post op, and i have been dealing with weight fluctuations and eating habits(i be snackin yall, pray for me)
but i am noticing some results from working out.... i am heavy on strength training, and muslces are popping out of places i forgot i had! but theres no weight loss going on. like for instance i see my arms getting bigger and more defined... but they aint shrinking.... and my legs are getting cuts in em.... but they aint no little legs! what im trying to say is, am i filling the space where the fat was with muscle? annnnnd should i be afraid of having big man arms and man legs? LOL sounds crazy
and how do i stem the tide a lil and start losing again?

Hey lady! check out this article:
www.nutrawize.com/muscle_women.htm
So - unless you are pulling a Barry Bonds - you have nothing to worry about - I doubt you are doing a competition type workout routine - so pump away on the iron! It will continue to help sculpt your body shape, give you energy and extra muslce burns extra fat.
To help you out - I suggest you take your body measurements and chart them over time. This will give you a better idea of the changes in your body.
