You know I had a Bowel Obstruction in 2005 (almost died also). Was in the hospital for 7 days!!

Bowel Obstruction comes from old scar tissues NOT taking vitamins, and drinking water. WHENEVER you have ANY TYPE of surgery on your belly that requires for you to get cut whereas it is c-section, or any other type of surgery on your belly you are a candidate for a SMALL BOWEL OBSTRUCTION. Thankfully, the ER team was alerted to my problem and took immediate action.

My condolences to this lady and her family!!

THANKS FOR THE WAKE UP CALL.   I 'LL BE 4 MONTHS OUT, AT THE END OF THIS MONTH AND YA GIRL HAS BEEN HANDLING HERSELF LIKE I WAS A VET.

Thanks Vonda good posting and getting us mindful the things that can happen if we don't do right and follow doctor order. I was having issue with my bowel and I make sure each day I take the medicine that was given to me plus all vitiams and drink my water daily.

I will definitely put La Tricia and her family in my prayers. I'm so sorry to hear of this. I really needed to read about situations like this. I'm very close to getting a surgery date and 99% of me is ready to go. That 1% is still unsure if I'll be able to handle the responsibility of WLS.  This is one responsibility I will be very mindful of!
