Facebook and people make comments about WLS

Everybody who used to know me knows I was a big mofo -and they also know I am a determined mofo - so WLS actually isn't a surprise to any of them and I double DOG DARE any mofo to start static with me over it!!!!  LOL

She replied to the message I left and confirm she only did it to be vindictive.  Well I going to let her and it go she is so petty she said I have been trying to make her look bad since the 8th grade which was fifteen years ago for us.  Well I am just SMH at it and she can kick rocks.  She also told me I should of told her it was a secret.  LOL

You see my screen name here. I deletes any inkling to WLS. I'm not ashamed of my decision but of the 300+ friends on facebook I don't need a whole lotta questions. Oh trust me since putting my latest pics up I get a HOLE LOTTA questions. I told one person from high school the truth cause I could hear the pain in her private message she sent me. I remember her being big, like a 20, even back then. Turns out she had been looking into RNY and didn't really like the surgery for her. I gave her the websites for the DS and she messaged me back the next day that she had a consult for a DS surgeon in PA. I was very happy to pay it forward to her.

Everybody else got my same routine.......exercise and Atkins!!

I feel you on that.  I will play it forward for those that need everyone else better get some business and kick rocks.  Kick rocks is me putting it lightly. 

Wow, that was harsh.  I'm sorry she was that shady.  I would remove her from my friends and keep on going.  It's out there now adn there isn't much you can do about it anymore.

I feel you with the Facebook thing.  I have noticed that some BAF members don't mind discussing their WLS on Facebook.  I am one of those that does.  Because everybody does not know and I don't want everybody to know.  What she did to you was wrong, and was intentional.  I had a highschool friend that I have NOT spoken to since highschool (so over 25 years ago) post my prom picture.  Girl, my BFF's co-worker saw the PIC and she called me ASAP.  I nearly died.  I hate that picture and that time of my life.  I was upset for the whole day.,  I contacted her ASAP and asked her to take it down.  She did..  Whew!  But anyway, Facebook is a good way to find old friends, keep in touch with new ones, etc.  I mainly use it to keep in touch with my family all over the country.  But other than that, I will not be discussing my WLS on it.  That's what OH is for, for me.....  But this is just my opinion....

I had a friend's mother put something about WLS on my wall and none of my fb friends really knew (other than fam). I deleted it and inboxed her like..........now, I love you Mom but don't put my business out there like that.

To me I feel like people who hide the fact they had the surgery are only adding to the problem that fat folks been dealing with for ever. LIke they need to hide in the corner and be ashamed of it. I know its your business how you put it out there HF and not hers but when you post those pics what do you think people are going to say? She was wrong for putting your business out there I agree b/c its a private matter to you, but when you post pics and people knew you before the surgery how private is going to be then? Feel me?

My journey is ALL over my page just read some of my notes and look at my pics...mofo's gone clown you all day but this is the world we live in either you can hide under a rock or you can rise and deal w/ it.

I haven't mention my wls to anyone on facebook.  I don't think I will.  I did have a breakthrough this week; I told all my co-workers that I was have the surgery.  most of them were supported; but it is always one in the group, she was going to tell me to be careful, her friend had it done and had all kinds of complications.  Well, my other co-worker told her that we did not want to hear any of that.  I just said I have hear and read all the horror stories, and I have a really good doctor so do not worry about me.  It was a breakthrough for me because, I wasn't going to tell them until after I had it done.  Now I do not really care what they think, I am doing this for me.
