Facebook and people make comments about WLS

well i dont know about anyone else...but its definitely not a form of me being ashamed.

In 2006 i was going to have wls and i was so excited about it. i talked to friends and family about it and found myself having to defend my decision to change my life. It seems like people (unless they are in our shoes) just dont get wls, they dont understand. So in 2008 when i made the decision to proceed with wls, i didnt open my mouth!!! There are people who know and people i decide not to even go there with...

Trust me, i get what you're saying about everybody and their mama's 2nd cousin having something to say. But why feel like you need to defend YOUR decisions? I'm like this...I'll explain the surgery, the mechanics of it, and what it has done for me. But as for derision, and people's horror stories, etc...KISS MY FAT BLACK ASS. If they dont like it, don't have the surgery. But im happy i had some good insurance, a good doc, and the time to have it done. Everything else is just like Charlie Brown's teacher...wahh waaaah waah wahhh

I do not have a problem telling people I just would prefer to be the one to tell it if it is going to be told.  Not someone else who is just trying to be vindictive.
