Happy Surgiversary to me!!
Hello all,
I know I don't post often however I am ALWAYS in lurk mode! I just wanted to take a minute to reflect on my past year. First, I can hardly believe a year has come and gone so quickly! Second, I want to send a special shot out to #1 mack mama, cookieluscious (sp), and Lee for keeping a sista motivated, giving great advice, and keeping it real! (There are lot more people on here doing their thing as well but I really admire their consistency, commitment, and honesty.)It has been a difficult year but a great one in the same. I have lost 90 pounds total which is great to me, however, I still have thirty more pounds to go.None the less, I am glad to be where I am and not where I used to be. To put it in perspective (when is the last time I lost 90 pounds in a year?) In the beginning I used to compare my progress to others on the board but I also had to admit that I did not put as much effort into my weightloss as I should or could have. I am very thankful that I was given the opportunity to have the surgery and I have no regrets! I want to let the pre ops and newbies know that I must agree with the VETS of the board when they say that this journey is very mental and a struggle each and every day. I wish everyone the best on their journey whether you're at the beginning, middle, or just maintaining. Don't give up and I will do my best to do the same. Here's my most recent photo posted below. To see my before photos, feel free to see my profile.

Where i am now...All the glory and praise to God!!!
God bless!

Congrats, sweetie. Keep doing your thing. :)
