Not trying to offend you but, Why are you eating that crap the chips and, the cheese? The ground turley is fine however the chips and cheese are a big no, no.

Did your doctor give you a plan to follow for the first six months or better yet the first year?

No offense taken after my six week follow up my surgeon and nut said it was okay to eat everything that was under 11grams of fat and under 5 grams of sugar in moderation.  I try to limit my carbs but I have been in the mood for Mexican and we had sixty b-day party at work that was Mexican theme and I made the nachos.  I figured if I did not eat alot I would be okay but I guess I was wrong.  I put very little toppings on each chip but I still feel like a rock sinking to the bottom of the ocean.

Check with your surgeon and NUT and ask him did he mean chips? I don't think he did. Did they give you a list of approved foods. I know my surgeon's office did. I cannot imagine a NUT or surgeon suggesting to a newly post op patient it was ok to eat chips no matter what the quantity is. Its about lifestyle changes. And you cannot change your lifestyle if you start introducing bad food into the game this early out. I dont know if I were you I would get some clarificatiion about what they meant by that statement.

The chips I used for the nachos are actually on the list of suggested foods I was given.  My nut made it clear if you restrict to much when you actually indulge you will over indulge so make healthy alternatives so that is what I am trying to do.

Where do you live because I want to switch to your surgeon and NUT. I want to be able to eat whatever I like too.

I never said I could eat what ever I want to.  It is my job to make healthy alternatives to go with my new healthy lifestyle.  That is what I am striving to do.

A little secret eat only ONE chip, to take away the craving.

Something in that mixture is making you dump. What make you dump today want necesarily in the next month or so.

HQ I have to ask have you been paying attention the last couple of days? Carbs bad. Protein good.  I want to clear up something Mrs. Rhonda said. Fat free cheese is good. Regular cheese is not. (Don't know which you had) Ground Turkey-excellent source of protein. That was good. Chips are not good. I don't care if it took you all day to eat them. Stay away from the chips. If you want taco's try making it on a whole wheat pita put the meat and toppings on the whole wheat pita and eat everything on the inside first. You probably will be full after that and won't even want the whole wheat pita.

I made the nachos with 2% shredded cheese and healthy grains whole wheat chips. I pay close attention to the boards. I thought I had made a healthy alternative.  I guess I was wrong.
