All this time i have been wrecking my brain and thinking i was not on track with this weight loss and getting a closer surgeon little did i know God had something planned for me. I had to wait a month to see the new closer surgeon and that was driving me a little crazy but today i saw him and he took a lot of pressure and stress off of me! I have lost a total of 36 pounds since i started the protein drink diet on 2-16-09 and when i went there i already had all my labs ready along with all the test he would need to get going so now all i have to do is attend his four hour class and get a procedure done called a IVC FILTER to prevent blood clots durning surgery and that wont be until 6-1-09 so i'm hoping after that i will be having the surgery. i am gonna think positive from here on out because i prayed and asked God to do this for me and i am just gonna let go and let God do his work aint nobody else capable of making this happen with a good outcome but him. I thank you for reading this cause i know you could be reading anything else on this forum but u are here and

Thats good! it sounds almost like something i went through until i decided to go to another group and took all the tests, records i had done thus far and lo and behold before i knew it i was done with the process and was given a date.  I had been going through this CRAP sinse about 05 or 06.  So good luck gurly and congratulations on your loss!!

 Congratulations!!!! I have to have a IVC filter put in as well. From talking to my surgeon the filter usually goes in one week before ur surgery date not sure if all surgeons are the same. BTW welcome to BAF
