It seems that all the advise given to you was GREAT.  Don't be to hard on yourself.  And stop sayni the last 40 pounds ... there is no such thing.  You really mean you would like to lose another  40lbs.  But, weahter you lose 40, 30, 50 ... As long as you are a size "That makes you comfortable and happy with you"  that's where you should be.  Your happiness is "NOT" decided by a number.  Rememer when you were 100lbs heavier ....you were doing it for a healthier you, a happier you ... do it for those reasons now.  They haven't changed.

Good Luck.

Thanks Curry....I am definitely going to keep this too.  You know at one time...I really was more focused on how I was feeling as opposed to the number.  As I think about it...I probably need to lose the scale.... I bought it when I decided to make a concerted effort to lose again. In hindsight while it help me initially...it might not be good to have around....or at least I need to stick to only weighing once a month as opposed to everyday.  Thanks for posting. I really appreciate it.

MD - that last 40 is the hardest - lemme just tell you.  Nothing is going to melt them jokers off - you gotta dig in and get ready for the LONG haul.

Keep on your plan - look at your carb load and protein intake - lots of times we up our carbs without really noticing it.  Also - you can change up your exercise - not sure what you are doing, but try a totally new routine - the muscle confusion can help your body along.

It took me almost a full year to settle into my final weight - so no quick fixes here.

Well...the one thing I gleaned from your post MM is the need to switch up my exercise.  I have been doing 3 miles on the threadmill....15 minute miles....3-5 days a week. I tried the exercise bike and elliptical....Lord that felt like torture....but I guess I am going to need to channel some energy in these directions....I guess I need to feel the burn in other areas....thank for the suggestions....will try this my next gym visit.

Since you are going to the gym - start weight training.

I bought a book that showed great form and exercises that most gyms have equipment for - building the muscle will scupt your body and help burn fat - much more so than cardio.

did you ever see my post about that?  Hit me on the BL and I will go on Amazon and find that book for you.  If all you are doing is treadmill - adding a lil strength training might jolt your body to losing.
