From your post, I can only imagine how insecure he's feeling with your newfound body, admirers, love for life, etc. I know that God put us with our mates for a reason.
If I were you, I'd SHOW him ALL the love that you have for him ((((talk is cheap, actions speak WAYYYYYY louder than words)))!!! Show him he's the ONLY man for you and that he's #1!!! He sounds very insecure and it's your job as his wife not to push him farther from you but to draw him closer during these troubled times.
Does he walk with you, exercise with you or walk the new dog with you? Do you include him in your daily activities or do you do everything by yourself? I'm sure inside he's thrilled for you but ....you stated there are dudes lined up - he's not blind - he can see how other men are looking at you. Jealousy is not cool.
Honey, you gotta still respect him as your husband and don't let the other men that are drooling over you infiltrate your MIND or preoccupy your thought life. He married you when you were large - he married you for your MIND & HEART, not your body. Maybe (just maybe) once you put-it-on-him-real-good AND respect him as YOUR short-armed-(whatever you said) husband, he'll be THANKFUL for your weightloss and not resentful that you're workin it & he's still the same-ole-same-ole.
