Well my day is here and I dont feel nervous or scared. I feel like I should be. Any advice for me what do i need to bring to the hosiptal.

Big robe, comfy slip on slippers (no socks) and if you have a fav pillow - take it with you!

Congrats. Being nervous is normal and a camera is great to bring.

Take something to read or an ipod. I wasn't allowed to take any gas-x, so I wouldn't bother packing it. You may want to pack some sanitary pads as my nurse explained that the anti- clotting medication they give you may cause you to begin your cycle. May you have an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery.

eta: James, on second thought, leave the pads at home. Maybe you can use them as eye covers or something later. Sorry for the mix up.

Congrats on your surgery tomorrow and I wish you the best...I used nothing during my stay except my cell phone and I packed a suitcase.
