MY QUESTION WASSSSSSSSSSSS

Meekie I am going to give you some advice... I usually stay out of stuff like this but I am going to put my .02 cents in. BAF is HARSH... I am only 2 weeks out but I have been on here for almost a year. I have observed quite a lot since joining BAF. Now while BAF may come off as harsh there is a lot to be learned on here. The Vets on here for some reason automatically seem to take issue with a lot of mistakes we make. They will be quick to point out they never did that and they don't understand why you are. The Vets that say this are usually at goal so they must have done something right but one thing they must understand is that everyone's journey is different. Sitting from a newbie's perspective I think we are all in the same boat. Just because you are years out I know lots of people who eat a lot of the wrong stuff and wonder why the pounds are piling back on. No one says anything about that. You were honest about what you eat. That took courage and trust me someone is sitting at their computer right now thinking dang I eat that too.  I know from that Miz D said something that made me say hmmm I am going to have to switch that up. She said drink pure water. I didn't get any pure water in today. I found tropical punch kool aid and put splenda in it. Been sucking it up like it was going out of style.  So tomorrow more water less kool aid even if it is sugar free.

Now that being said here is my advice to you. Find a vet that you connect with and see if she will be your angel. I have several people on BAF that are vets that I direct my questions too. On the backline because I am struggling with this thing and the last thing I need is everyone jumping on me. They give me very good advice and I take it to heart.  This WLS thing is hard and you are going to make some mistakes along the way. Learn from them and keep moving along in your journey.  I wish you the very best.

Hey Vets...I'm only three weeks post-op with lots of questions. I welcome the advice so don't give up on all of us newbies...I dont care how you put it as long as it keeps me from  everyday and moving that scale to an acceptable weight.  We're family now   so say what you got to say to keep me on track.
