Morning Yall
This program is more offical than the Suz running program. I looked at my nike plus thing and I ran a straight line the entire 45 minutes absolutely no dips at all, with the couch to 5K I would have dips in my running where I would slow down on slower songs and speed up on the fast ones.
This program has a consistant beat of 180 beats per minute and you run to that beat and it is a decent pace that I was able to keep up with with no problem at all. You run for like 8 min walk for 30 sec and then it's back to running for 8 min.
The 30 seconds go by really really fast so it doesn't even feel like you had a breather which is fine with me cause i'm use to running a straight 40 minutes now, but I will follow the program.
I like it so far, it feels very offical not like Suz which was more laid back with the hip hop, but I think I will like it a lot cause I like that it keeps you on a pace and you don't have slower dips in your running.
OK MY COUCH TO 5K
Where are you right now, i'm still here waiting for you all to complete your program and join me in this 8K. Report in and let me know how your doing.
