Hey thurr,
I plan to call my Dr. once his office is open on tomorrow (closed today), but I want to know if you were using a c-pap machine prior to wls at what point or weight loss # were adjustments needed?

The today I awakened feeling like my sleeve was about to emplode and explode...
before I could react I suddenly burped and began to pass gas...tmi I know but this shyte was raw and scary.

My pressure is set at 18 and my assumption is that this
# is now too high because that has never happened before. I am actually scurred to use the c-pap tonight.

Can't help you there - I stopped using mine the DAY after I got home!  lol - but you should really call the doc about that - the thing shouldn't hurt you

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Yeah I will. Had I slept one more hour, I would've stopped breathing for sure.

Thanks Hollsteve,
so when your pressure got too high, did the explosion feeling and other stuff happen?

Yup that sounds about right. Mine was blowing and about to blow me up, I couldn't even take in the air.

Mine was put in the closet when i had my surgery, I kept telling the nurses that my cpap was in the closet, they answered that I did not need it, and I have not used it since....however, right before my surgery I had an episode kind of like that, I woke up fighting because that thing felt like it was blowing a thousand miles an hour and I could not catch my breath!  It was like I had taken in all the air I could and there was no room left, it was a strange feeling.
