The best Non WLS advice I ever got.......

1. Fear your Lord

2. When I gave birth to my first child, my mother told me, "Remember this, don't ever say what your child wont' do. And know he belongs to God."

All this is sooooo true!!!

Don't ever say what your man won't do always say what you "hope" he won't do.

"Never let them see you sweat".... Just an old cliche that I keep at the front of my mind.  I think I apply this more in business and my professional life than anywhere else.  If I don't know something...I am quick to dig out a book or research something before coming back with a response. It has worked for me...and in the process...I learn so much more

If a person says:

or

I CAN



They are both right !!

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you....

Love thine enimies....

No one can take away from you what GOD has planned for you....

Everything happens for a reason, you may not see it now but it does.

Be quiet sometimes, you can't hear if you're talking too....

If you keep doing the same thing, you're going to get the same result..

If you got a hater...you must be doing soething right!

Forgivness is not for the other person, it's for YOU!

I was just telling someone about the last one the other day.  Its so true. Forgiveness is a powerful thing. 

Mama used to say....

1) The quickest way to get rid of a man is to tell him you're pregant.

2) Everyone's not going to like you but who give a f*** , as long as you like yourself

3) If a man did it to the last girl/woman he will do it to you (what makes you think your "stuff" is so special that he will change just for you)

4) If someone is coming to you telling you all of some one elses business, you can rest assured that they going to that person and telling them all of your business

5) A man will tell you anything to get into your drawers

6) Dont ever let another female (not even relative) move into your home with you and your man, recommend the nearest hotel or apt. (this excluded weekend visitors but more for people claiming they want to relocate and ask to say with you while they find a place)

7) Always have your own money so when the MF'er gets to acting up you can fly your butt on home

8) re children: beat their a**,  I beat yours and look how you turned out

9) Never let someone else tell you how to spend your money


oh goodness there was a million sayings from my mother ...... wish i would have listened to them all

My mom always told me "Be careful of a dog bringing a bone to you, because they are always caring one away". 
 Basically, watch people who always bring news or gossip to  you, because they are trying to get info from you to take back.
This lesson has always stuck with me.
