Special K Protein Shakes

So, I was at Wal-mart this afternoon and noticed the new Special K Protein Shakes. I was excited to see them until I read the nutrition label. IMHO, too many carbs and not enough protein. Has anyone tried them?

And the amount of protein isn't that impressive either... you'd probably get more in an equal sized serving of plain ol' milk!

No I have not tried it and I agree that is a lot of sugar and carbs for only 10 grams of protein.

Exactly. It is more like a Slim-Fast type product (meal replacement). I think they're wrong for labeling it as a protein shake, but I'm sure countless folks will buy it thinking they're really boosting they're protein intake.

Dang not to mention the 180 calories. I was checking into the special k protein drink as well but I wasn't impressed with that either. It should have way more protein in it in order to be called a "protein drink"

Yep - they are bullshiot.

Much better bet is a bodybuilder nutrition store.

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions! I'm saving on the newsstand price.......
