If your employer advised you that you now had a four day work week and you had a choice of having either Monday or Friday off which would you choose and why?

ETA:  To answer my question...I am leaning toward Mondays and my reasons are:

1.  I would have to be responsible for a "Monday" report because my other coworker would be off.
2.  On Sundays, when everyone else is dreading their Monday, I would be

FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  cause that is the unobserved Negro recurring holiday........

LMAOOOOO

Naw - for reals - I would choose Friday because it would potentially be payday some weeks and the happy hours are better on Friday than Monday........

BUT - the anti-social me would pick Monday cause I could then have everywhere to myself cause all the other mofos would be back at work during the day........

but I ain't anti-social no mo.  I used to have Tues-Wed-Thur off on a 4x10 schedule - that was in my anti-people days......

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

alcoholTrina!  I can identifiy with your reasons.  But,  you could have Mondays to unwind from the happy/social hours of the weekend.

I would choose to have Mondays off because I HATE MONDAYS!  Plus, I could spend as much time in church on Sundays with no concern for prepping for the week afterwards.

I used to have every Friday off.  At first, it was awesome!  But, after a while, I did more 'work' on Fridays away from work than if I had actually been at work.  I started saving everything for Fridays... between household chores, laundry, errands, cooking, etc., I was wiped!  I needed Saturday and Sunday just to recover!

Which way are you leaning, Sis?

Pre-child Tonya would have said Friday in a minute--all day to relax before Happy Hour.

Post-child Tonya--Monday.   You can schedule appointments, have a day to yourself, not work so hard on the weekend (i.e. laundry, cleaning, etc.) and I hate Mondays.

Personally I'd enjoy the Fridays off-nothing beats starting the weekend early.  That feeling of dread people have about Mondays will only be transferred to Tuesdays, don't you think?
