Getting Rid of Old Clothes

I gave my clothes to the women at the church... BOY were they happy!!!  The clothes that I have now that I can no longer wear... I think that I am going to do myself a favor and have a garage sale when we have the neighborhood sale this year... I know that I can make good... I have so many clothes now it makes no sense... 

I was just on the phone talking to Dani GIRL about this same thing... WE both agree that when they no longer FIT... GET rid of them... I'm not going back to that size anyway so why hold on to them...  I worked to hard to go back to a 30... DAMN that... I LOVE THESE 10's...

I couldn't wait to get rid of my big girl clothes...I gave some to friends , some to family, and some to the goodwill........like someone else said giving them away keeps you motivated to stay in your smaller size(s)......so let em go Ma and bless someone who may be in need

I hear ya'... I hear ya'... I'm gonna make that trip to Goodwill tomorrow.  Promise!

I kept one 5x shirt and size 34 pants (just as a reminder).  Everything else I gave away to friends who were interested in having them or to Goodwill.

I did this TOO!!!  I have a pair of 5x pants that I used to wear as my 'weekend uniform' and a leather jacket - size 26/28

I can step into ONE leg of the pants - and the coat hangs off me something ridiculous - but that shiot was TIGHT at one time - so I keep the reminder too!!! 

Yep, I was too small for nearly all my 2x shirts at less than two weeks out.  I donated half to Goodwill last week.  I'll do the other half this weekend.  Then I'll start on the pants next week. 

It's good for taxes.  They give me a signed original receipt and let me put what I donated and let me assign the value to it.  So, I can donate lets say 10 pairs of pants, but write on the receipt that I donated 45 pairs.  Hey, works for me.
