I have a question:

Personally I don't have time for the drama.  If I don't like you, don't get a good vibe from you then I pretty much don't deal with you.  In work related situations I talk about professional matters, and won't even pretend with idle chit chat.  I don't do the cattiness, its not really a part of my personality.  In my personal life my male friends outweigh my female ones anyday.  I don't need a whole gaggle of girl pals to get thru life.

like Shani said, I have my moments of pettiness, smart assness etc. not gonna change, I'm ok with myself and can admit that jackassery as part of my personality. has nothing to do with male/female...I'm an equal opportunity picker-onner.
I do also try to be completely honest, and some take that as cattiness/hating. im so over that hating idea...if ppl dont like your opinion, then all of a sudden you are a "hater" B.S.!
i.e. that outfit is not flattering, this might be cuter....but that gets twisted into the commenter somehow being jealous or "hating".

that's soooo tired. most of the ppl claiming to have haters dont have a goddamn THANG to hate ON!

 Janeen, I can honestly respect your answer.   To admit that you seem to get a kick out of jackassery (I like that word, I think imma use it from now on. lol) show a definite willingness to look in the mirror and see the true person you are at times. 

I understand what you are saying about being completely honest.  What about those who deliberately do /say hurtful things for their own amusement?  I know its not "hating" (one of the most overused terms in the Black dictionary along with "diva"), but what say you about that?

well deliberate meanness is sometimes amusing. but on the flip side of that, some people are so used to sugar coating and b.s. that they taken any unadulterated truth as someone being mean.

as far as those who do things deliberately...hopefully they can take it when they run up on someone meaner than them.

NO need for a QUEEN to hate... I love who I am... I think that if a woman is BOLD, CONFIDENT and then on TOP of that FINE and she knows she's fine and don't need anyone to tell her that... A true testament of confidence, in my opinion, is a woman who can go out on the dance floor and dance by her dayum self!   No need to ask a brother to dance....feel the music.....and go to the floor.  Brothers see this and fall over themselves to make HER acquaintance.
