I guess, for example, I know why some guys don't acknowledge their children, though I acknowledge mine.

The question is something that has puzzling to me for a while and while my male friends have theories, I've never asked a woman..until now

I agree with what Sam said.

Also keep in mind that men can squash arguments/disagreements and keep it moving without missing a beat. We women tend to marinate in it, carry it , hold on to it for much longer than we need to. We take things much more personally than men which can, in turn, lead to pettiness and cattiness. This is the reason why I've ways preferred working in an environment that's mostly male.

As a woman in the reverse job....only woman here, 50 men. Men are WORSE!!!! And they take it to a whole nother level. So maybe it's not a man or woman thing, just human nature sometimes to poke at people sometimes. I know I've done it, and I'm sure I'll do it again. I try not to be catty, but sometimes it just busts outta me, I have my lil petty fun and move on.

Shani, I understand what ur saying...sometimes, when we are taking it to another level, mostly its in terms of just cracking on eachother. A lot of times, it may well be good-natured (though, every-so-often, you have that vicious streak that shows-lol)

Man or woman, I have never met a person in my life that at one time or another didn't say something smart about somebody else, gossip, or things like that. Although I never "hate" on another woman, I always give compliments when compliments are due, I have to be honest and can't say I don't snicker at juicy gossip just like the next person.
