BAF Brethren - I have a question......

For the bruhs 40 or older - did you trip out about turning 40?

Today is my BF 40th B-day and I am bascially required to act like this day accidentally fell off the calendar.  He is totally not cool with being 40 - says it's all downhill from here and he doesn't want a card, cake, presents - nothing.  I couldn't even tell him Happy B-day - I had to say Happy 5th anniversary of your 35th......

Now - on one hand I'm cool cause I don't have to go to the trouble of presents and such, but he's in a real damn funk!! 

So what's the big deal anyway????  Fellas - help a sista understand please!

I am with you man - I will be SOOOO ready to celebrate 40 - cause my daughter will be 17 and that means I will be 1 year to FREEDOM!!!!  LOL

BUT you talking about a GOOD TIME... A REAL GOOD TIME...

I aint a bruh either but I can speak for the "40 something" folks.  For "me" , "I" didn't really start living my life until 40 and after!  I thought I had my stuff together back in my younger years but now I see that things are waaayyyy better now!  I'm loving my life right now!

I am not a man, but can I tell you that I loved, loved, loved it when I turned forty?  This time next week, ya girl will be 44!
