However, 'm a "white woman" so to speak when it comes to body types so for me and my shape the current BMI is probably correct lol.
We also have to remember that some of us "light weights" may not have gotten approved for the surgery if there were two different BMI charts.

I'm very proportionate from top to bottom, def not a black girl shape. But I must have more muscle mass or heavier bones because most of the people I see on the other boards that weigh the same as me are in much larger sizes. I'm thinking there is truth to this article. But who knows? lol
