Babygirl Gets Her Back Up...

I'm feeling ya on this one.  I have an 18 year old Sr. girl and I impress upon her what life would be like with an unplanned pregnancy at this point in her life.  So many girls at her school are pregnant-- freshmen on up.  I have been brutally honest.  That is a situation that I cannot deal with.  We have done our job.  We will be empty nesters come June (dropping her behind off at UF) and I don't have any plans for anyone but me and my man for the next 10 years!  Yea, that's what I told both kids.  I need 10 years before y'all come calling me asking me to babysit and contribute to care of your children.  I need some ME time.  My life has been about y'all for the last 21 years.  For the record, my kids think my husband is a bit abrupt also.  He doesn't care.  He says he doing his job.  If he don't, the world will.
