OK Yall know I will be completing the couch to 5K program next week and I have been looking for a couch to 10K for our next mission. Well I have found a program that offers both a 5K - 8K and then after we are done with that there is a 8K - 10K.
The music is fast paced and not bad, there is no voice prompt like Suz gave us but there is a tone for when we should run and then walk. I think I am going to transition into this one.
I am going to finish the 5K and I will repeat the last week twice before moving on to this new program.
So check it out and let me know what you guys think of this new program, It is called Podrunner. Click on the one that says Gateway to 8K, and listen to the intro to intervals.

Let me know what you all think and if this is one you think we should transition to. I tried to find others with hip hop but there is none, and Suz said she is going to do this Podrunner rather than making another program now.
The regular Couch to 5K thread is already on the board below:

My knees have finally stopped creaking and aching and I've lost a few pounds in the past few weeks, so I'm going to begin the 5k program (again) on Monday. The gym circuit at the gym I go to has been boring me, plus I know I need to do cardio to get this fat off.
Even when I'm not posting I'm keeping up with your progress and you're doing good! I'm proud of you Lee!

Hey Lee- Well, I finished week 7 and the 3-25 minute runs. One of the runs my friend kept me plugging along and I finished a 5K in a little over 31 minutes. I'm working on getting under a 10 minute mile :) although my initial goal was just to complete the damn thing...I'm getting fancy now LOL I'm signed up for 5k on April 26 and then a 5mile race on May 16 so I'll definately check out the 5K to 8K program cause that's not much time but it seems when I get the second wind I can keep going just not that fast!!! LOL Happy holidays!
Love,
