Water/Vitamin/Sleep/Exercise Challenges!!

I challenge you to drink at least 72 ounces of water.

100 ounces for me

I challenge you to take all vitamins, supplements, and meds.


Mulitvitamins, B-1, B-12 sublingual, B-complex, Iron, Vitamin C, Calcium Citrate +D, Vitamin D, Flaxseed, Osteo Bi-Flex, Garlic, 1/2 adipex

I challenge you to do at least 30 minutes of exercise today
.

Working on abs/obliques, biceps, triceps, and 3 miles on the treadmill

I challenge you to get 8 hrs of sleep tonight.


Shooting for at least 6 hrs.

Water - check.

Vitamins - check and yes.... still working on that damn calcium

Exercise - check - will be in the gym tonight! 

Sleep - noooo problem.  working at home tomorrow so the 'office' is less than a minute away - I will get in a GOOD 8, maybe even 10!!!  lol

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Water...not a problem I usually get in 120oz min

Vitamins...never a problem here is what I take: 2 multi-vitamins, 2 calcium citrate + Vitamin D, 2 vitamin D, sublingual B complex (2 times week), 2 iron as ferrous sulfate, vitamin C (to help absorb iron), Biotin, Zinc and prescription prevacid I have a strict schedule spacing the multi-viamins and calcium 4 hours apart

Exercise - not a problem because it's also a daily part of my life...Monday - Friday 45 minutes of cardio which is 3 miles at lunchtime then I have a strict schedule at the gym Monday - 60 minutes of Body Pump, Tuesday - 60 minutes of Yoga, Wednesday - 45 minutes of Pilates, Thursday - 60 minutes of Zumba

Sleep - now THAT is a problem! I have been having increasing difficulty sleeping BUT I refuse to get on anything. So, I have started to take a benadryl at night and that gives me at least 3-4 hours straight...this is something I really need to work on!

Thanks for this post Cookie...the connection is good...incorporate mind, body and soul! We "older" post-ops need to keep on track and stay on top of our game!!! 24/7

I can do all of the above except the sleep thing.  Son's having surgery in the morning and I'm always nervous the night before.  I usually don't sleep at all and I finallly relax when he is back home in my bed sleeping peacefully.

Water - I'm working on 20 oz right now

Vitamins - I've taken
B-12, Biotin, Fish Oil, Prenatal, One a Day for Women, Vit D, Calcium Citrate and will take my Iron this evening

Exercise - Will be doing 30 minutes of jogging on the treadmil (YEAH I can actually JOG now)

Sleep - URA I'm working on that!

I was once a mess!!  My mess is now my message!! WLS saves lives!!  I'm living proof!

Water - not a problem, will do at least 100 ozs or more today....I seem to crave water these days

Vitamins - morning set already done - next set at 4:00 this afternoon

Exercise - will attempt to do 30 minutes on the elliptical but I'm so out of shape that I can barely make it 10 minutes right now.  I'll have to do 3 sets of 10 with breaks in between for now.

Sleep - in order to get 8 hours, I would have to go to sleep at 10 and stay asleep all night long and that aint gonna happen.  I usually only get about  4-5 hours of good, sound sleep then toss and turn for 2 hours until the alarm goes off.   Still struggling with the sleep thing.
