WOW WHAT IS THIS!!!!!
The first holiday right after my WLS in October '08 was Thanksgiving and I was still a newbie to this whole thing called a Weight Loss Tool. I must've sat at that dayum dinner table sweatin like a runaway slave who keeps hearing dogs barking off on the horizon, while trying to decide whether to listen to my eyes or my stomach when fixing my plate.
Now that I'm about 6 months or so out I don't even trip on stuff like that because to be honest with you food doesn't have the same "drug affect" on you that it once held over you after WLS and you'll discover new joys and things to look forward to during the holidays.

Many of the things you could have been, you overlooked due to weight or low energy levels. It changes post-op.
Go do you! Besides, eating less gives more money to spend on other things.
