I just have to say....

I will admit I don't post near as much as the real deal surgery stuff as I used to, but every now and again when the mood hits, I try to. I think the further out you get, the more the SAME OLD questions just tend to get on your nerves. Don't get me wrong, I don't blame folks for asking, but at times it feels like people don't do enough research on their own before committing to going on with WLS. There is SO MUCH out there, a wealth compared to even 6 years ago when I was researching.

Ditto!!! I look forward to the posts from the people that are in my range or further out...I will admit that! BUT like you, I try to respond to the newbies when I can or when I'm in the "teaching" kinda mood. What erkkkkkkks me is the questions/statements that are just plain ole FOOLISH Like umm....

I'm 2 weeks out and I ate a piece of fried chicken now I feel like I'm going to DIE.....UMM DUH..Dumbass you got what you deserved!!!!

I understand your points... but I'm sure at one point, you all were in our shoes.  I'm not teh most patient person, but if I ever get to you all's place, I'd hope I'd remember how I was when I started out - confused, scared, etc.  I'm JUST starting this journey - so new I haven't been to a seminar yet.  There is a lot of info, and some of it is confusing.  Sometimes you just don't know where to start, since there's so much out there.

MM, I gotta echo what YaYa said.  You're a gem.  When I first came on OH & BAF, I was like "Who the heck is this light-skinned heifer!?"  I thought you were WAY too abrasive and somewhat of a pain in the @$$.  But, you know what?  I absolutely LOVE you now.  I've watched you closely and I appreciate both your honesty and transparency.  You've never put on airs about this journey or your struggles with it.  And when folks ask questions, you're honest... sometimes painfully so.    At the same time, you're funny as all get out and YOU STICK AROUND TO HELP THE REST OF US.
