I just have to say....

It's so nice to have people who are far out from surgery still on here...still posting....still showing support...still sharing their stories and the TRUTH about their struggles and challenges!!!!!

I remember being pre-op...I researched WLS for 2 years prior to my surgery. During that time, one of the things that concerned me MOST was that not very many "older" post-ops stuck around to tell the story of their lives AFTER WLS. I could find stories for people that were maybe one or two years post-op...and that was it! That was the one thing that concerned me but I still decided to go through and trust in God and my surgeon to give me a new lease on life...and I'm so glad I did!

So, thank you...all of you. This is a journey that NEVER ends and the support is essential is continued success over the duration of our lives
