I was listening to that crazy Steve Harvey this morning and he made a few comments and I want further clarification from you, my brothers.


Question 1:  Would you rather shack than get married?

Question 2:  If you could, would you have more than one wife? You know, like in the Bible days.

Question 3:  Would you also have concubines?

Question 4:  Does the emtionalism of women really get on your nerves?

Question 5:  What do you think of a woman who says, "I just want to F...no strings attached."

i'd rather get married...(i'm old fashioned)

no...and let not folk believe that God approved of folks in the Bible having multiple wives...(all of them paid a price for it in their personal lives...)

no...not me...

sometimes it can get on my nerves...but most of the time...i appreciate that design in women...

i don't want any...(plus i don't believe there's such a thing as "no strings attached" when it comes to the "F" thingy...)

That's an interesting question.  Being a traditionalist at heart (sometimes), I'd prefer to be married.  I like the idea of raising a family, having the "nuclear unit", growing old together, joined in matrimony.

No, I would not.  Most guys would probably look at this and say "Yeah, more sex.."  From a practicality standpoint, however, in this day and age, to what purpose would it serve?  Honestly, its hard enough being all you can be as a man for ONE woman, much less three, four, or five. One would actually have to learn to co-exist with not just one other personality, but several.  No, its not worth it.

Concubines very seldom want to STAY concubines.  See my answer to question number 2

Question 4:  Does the emtionalism of women really get on your nerves?
Not so much the emotionalism (i'm asking to get cruxified on here, but what the hell) because men can be just as emotional..we are just so used to keeping it in check that many women don't think we even have emotions.  Having said that, its the wild extremes of some womens' emotions.  When I was married, we went from bliss to biotchiness in 6.8 seconds sometimes.  I often didn't know which woman I was going to be interacting with from moment to moment.  The extremes are what get on my nerves, at times.
Question 5:  What do you think of a woman who says, "I just want to F...no strings attached."
I can actually respect that.  After all, the body is her's to do with as she wants.  I know there are gonna be guys that say, "Hell, that biotch is a ho'" .  But, fellas, when we sling our johnsons all over the place indescriminately, outside of what society dictates, is there really a difference?  We're doing what we want with out bodies and don't give a damn who cares about it when we want no strings attached.  So, if she want just sexual gratification and nothing else, hell, she's just being honest...at the time.  That, like the concubine thing, is subject to change, too, depending on the person.

Question 4:  Does the emtionalism of women really get on your nerves? it gets on my nerves sometimes, but don't REALLY get on my nerves. I look at it from both sides like what can I do to prevent her from being so emotional. I mean if it's always something pety, that gets old fast.

She knows what she wants out of life. A lot of men say that and no one see's any problem with that.

but a few on the side to play around every now and then wouldn't hurt...kinda like a free pass to the strip club w/ boom boom room coupons!

Only when they are TOOOO emotional and when they are emotinally weak...I hate weak people especailly women (that damnsel in distress b/s is annoying)

I beg to differ on the statment about sex being emotional.  Actual SEX is just an action. Nothing more..nothing less.  Love is an emotion, Lust is an emotion.  One can have love without sex.  I can lust after power and that doesn't concern sex.  That people equate sex as being emotional is what gets a lot of people, both men and women, into trouble.  You engage with someone, the sex is physically great, suddenly, the person thinks they are in love with the person.  They are loving the person, they are loving the result of a action. 

As for the acertion that she doesn't have self-control, I think it takes a hell of a lot of self control to see sex for what it is..just sex...and treat it accordingly.  Hell, she is acting no differently than most of the dudes we know who WANT to have a purely sexual relationship with a woman.  The difference is, many guys talk that "You know how I feel about you, baby.." or "I love you, girl.." shyt knowing they just want the punnany, nothing else and are too punk to just man up and say what they want. At least give the woman the option of "yea" or "nay".   That is part and parcel of why there is often so much mistrust between the sexes regarding relationships.  I can actually admire a woman saying she wants no strings because she is being honest.  Whether she can maintain a purely sexual relationship is something else entirely, but to call her a ho' is is bullchiot when so many dudes try the same thing without the honesty.
