Dumb question - Sprite?

OK, so, I'm not going to surgery (hopefully by end of 2009), but I am trying to change... I'm going to be starting Adipex and heard caffeine isn't good with it...

Lawd help me Jeee-sus! I am @ my desk with a sign that says "The Witch Is In" outside my cubicle.  I have a migraine, I want a Coke so bad!!!  I crave it! I desire it! I want it to make sweet sensual love to my tastebuds and take this pain away.  It's only been 2 days and 11 minutes... I wanna jump!!!    Like I'm hitting a brick wall!!!


It wasn't planned.. I was down to one a day - usually @ dinner.  So I said I wouldn't have any last night... By bed time, I counted 4 Coke Zeros in the fridge - said once those were gone, I'd stop, since can't take w/ meds and can't have after surgery any ole way...

Now, thoughts of Barq's rootbeer are dancing through my head... And those 4 Zeros are on my skull... should I just finish them off, have a Barq's, then quit???

But, can a sista have a Sprite? Damn!

No go have some crystal light ...like the rest of us!!

but wait!!! I forgot I stuck a CL to go in my purse!!! Going to buy water, and add some Splenda!!!

LOL sure you can if you want your pouch to stretch... thats what they say. Some doctors say yes and some doctors are against it. However about 6 month post-off I decided to take a sip or 2 of a Sprite..it was ssssssssooooo good. A few minutes later I got so ssssssiiiiicckkk... I dumped and have been afraid to touch it since then. I guesss thats kinda a good thing...becuz I am afraid of sodas..Im even afraid to try a diet one.

Babe, not for nothing, but drinking carbonated soda is a no-no, anyway.  The gas bubble stretch your pouch.  Didn't your nutritionist tell you this? Hmmmmmmmmm? 

And, NO, you can't have a Sprite.  Stick to Crytal Lite or water. 

 

D, that whole bubbles stretching your pouch thing is a myth. That is what burping and farting is for! LOL

So, val, i'm guessing you had a very stinky house when you were first post-op, eh?  Just burning up err'body's nose hairs, eh?  LOL

Nope, do this instead....Open a bottle of Spite (don't get temped please) and Drink some water...or CL.  With each sip, smell the Sprite and let the aroma mix with whatever you're really drinking.

I have no clue of that works because I just made that ish up, but I felt that I needed to give you the support in this.
