Transfer Addiction

Prior to WLS I was into Shopping and Sex of course but now it has gotten bad...lol...I am like a sex addict (so is my man) but I am worse than ever and it is probably because of the extra energy I have...

Now shopping...In the last month I have purchased over 10 pairs of shoes (And I do not wear cheap shoes), and LV bag, and almost $450 of MAC...I did not care but now I am thinking that I went overboard...My fiance pays for some but his money is my money and vice versa... I love to shop but settle on my house in 2 months and have to have that money... I am thinking of closing my ATM card (I do not use Plastic because of my house). I do have a budget but this last month I was way over...I rather it be spending money than eating food but I need to take it easy...I can pick it back up when I settle on the house.

What is or was your transfer addition and did you let it get the best of you?

I don't know that I have any transfer addictions. 

I'm not a sex addict, but I do enjoy the lovin' more now than ever!!!    Conversely, I absolutely hate to shop,  unless it's online.  NJ is way too congested; I hate dealing with a bunch of folks in stores & at the malls. 

Never been a smoker.  I've never done any kind of illegal drug (ever!).  And I'm not about to even try alcohol (although I do miss my Patron!).

I'm hoping that I won't pick up any transfer addictions, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

Now, BACK AWAY FROM THE SHOE STORE!!!

I am done with the shoes store and most of my shopping is done online...I try the shoes on and if they do not fit I take them back..But odd enough they always fit...I am leaving the shoe store alone but am so tempted to stop over Cherry Hill Mall...I heard about the transformation and would love to go but no more shopping (only necessities****il I get my house...

Child, I am literally 4 minutes from the Cherry Hill Mall, if that.  It's a hot mess over there!  

Granted, they have some really nice stores now... always have, really.  But folks are losing their ever-loving minds over Nordstroms!  IMHO, it's just too conjested!

I will let it die down a little before I make my move.

I have a shopping 'itch' as well - but like your house, I have to save for my plastics, so I REFUSE to buy anything I don't need.

I am the type to not let ME be the reason something doesn't happen - so once I make a plan, I work the plan.  I now have a strict budget for myself and use a check register to write down everything I buy from my discrectionary account - down to even a pack of gum!  It's a lil extreme - but keeps me on track.....

umm - I use MAC too - I KNOW you can't be wearing everything you bought...... if you wanna, say, offload it to remind you not to buy anymore..... HOLLA AT CHA GIRL!!! 

LOL...MM...I used to have a lip gloss addiction when I used to get them from Rite Aid and CVS- Covergirl...lol...Let's just say Ipicked it back up and now it is MAC...And an eyeshadow addiction...I have a complexion that looks good with any color so I expirement a lot...But this stuff will last me forever...I am really going to stay on point from here on out...I will ask IT to ban me from macys.com, dsw.com, ninewest.com, etc...I am serious...Like you I have a goal...I cannot sleep in a shoe or use my make-up bag as a pillow..lol

But this is it for me...I might give myself $100 per pay to splurge, if that, and whatever that can get me, hair, nails, earrings, than that is that.

Most makeup only lasts maximum of 18 months before expiration.  Other things like mascara should be changed every 3 months.  Applicators should have a life of only about 4 weeks.

That is exactly why I stopped collecting lip gloss..But I do change my mascara often becaus I use it so much...But I use the same brand and it is the only thing I use not from MAC.
