Mortality, complication, etc rates

Where in the hell do I find this ish at?

And, should I just look @ centers of excellence? (thinking that's a no-brainer though).

BTW, I've registered for 4 seminars.

I personally looked for centers of excellence. Any surgeon wortth his salt will be able to tell you that informaiton either in their seminar or in a consultaiton after the seminar.

Ro beat me to it, so ditto.  When you go to the 1st seminar they will give you stats on WLS in general you can also ask for the rates per the practice.  When I went they had lost only one patient and that wasn't specifically due to the surgery.

Also, how can you trust the surgeon? It's in his interest to lie.  Is there anyplace exterior of the surgeon to find this info out?

you better get your google on bout that doc!!!  There are numerous sites with doc reviews - FIND them!!!  and ask that mofo to give YOU a list of mofos you can call that he has cut - if he can't cough it up - don't work with his ass!
