Overweight friends........

Ok - so what if those friends REFUSE the 'tactful' prodding?  What then?  Do I have to subject myself to their bad habits because I am a friend? 

Like I said in my response back to Miz D - not saying the distance is because of a conscious choice based on their weight - but a natural migration based on change of lifestyle...... it IS a bit different.....

Ummm... I still AM the overweight friend

I was always the overweight friend.  My true friends are still down.  I noitce that I'm losing a lot of associates and people at work that I was cool with.  I don't go out to eat and spend my lunch hour walking so in a way I have alienated myself.  It's all good though because I have summertime plans and it don't include going on unit lunches and trips to Baskin Robins afterwards.

I was the only overweight person in my group of friends.  Hell, I was the only overweight person in my family!

I thank all of my skinny and normal weight friends for hanging out with me.  And, all of their eating habits were worse than mine -- I was always the one on a diet or going to weigh****chers.    A few people didn't like the fact that I started losing weight, but they were not real friends anyway.

Everybody is into exercising and trying to eat right now.  Basically, I have the same few, true friends.

This is funny. I dont have not one overweight friend except my boyfriend. All my friends are 6's and belows.
I have always been the BIG girl so Idk how this will work...
