Procedure was uneventful thankfully. Had problems with getting pain meds from nurses. Had to ask for it every time I was in pain. At one point I heard "code gray" over the speakers and had to walk out into the hallway due to tornadic weather. Thankfully, it was only for a few minutes. Tuesday night brougt gas pains like crazy. Wednesday and Thursday were good to go. I finally figured I had to at least try to eat the infamous mystery broths and jello they bring out if I wanted to go home. I started Wednesday.
Was discharged Friday. Felt great that afternoon but the night time brought severe abdominal pains. Not sure what caused it. Sat and Sun were okay. Had relavtives down both days. Got irritated by day two.
Doing fine now. Could go back to work tomorrow if I had to. But will finally have the house to myself during the day this week. AAHHHHH!!!
My official weigh day is Sunday (key word official). Was 257 today, down 7 lbs since surgery day. Beginning to like Looserville. Haven't been below 260 since sometime in 2005.
