ITCHY>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<...
I had an allergic reaction to Nexium, they started giving it to me the day of my surgery and I at first I was just itching all over, then I developed a red rash as well. We didn't figure out it was the Nexium until last Tuesday so I itched for 2 weeks!!!!!!! My DR. presribed me ATARAX and in 2 days it was all gone.
I read post about people itching from iron also.
Are you taking any new meds? or vitamins? Changed detergent?

okay, i am not sure if this is going to help you but...
...there is a condition called chorionic urticaria and it is basically a horrible itch.
i know because i have it. basically, it is something that you feel when you are doing anything aerobic.
when i was younger i used to have to stop running or swimming or whatever because of a very embarassing itch all over my legs and back and thighs. i did not know what it was from.
this condition, i now know, is also referred to as excercise hives.
some people's bodies release histamine into the tissue and flesh whenever their internal temperature raises beyond a certain point.
histamine is the same thing that makes you feel like you need a benadryl in the springtime.
imagine that itchy feeling all inside your body and under your skin where you really can't scratch. owwwch!
the websites and mainstream doctors advise taking benadryl before exercise.
dr. llaila afrika the well known naturopath told me that i should take a suppliment called chromium picolinate but it didn't really help like talking 'bout.
besides, he kept saying that the itch was due to the release of toxin and that if i lost weight, it would subside.
i don't think he realized that the itch was keeping me from exercising and thus making me be obese and full of toxin in the first place.
but all i can say is that if you find yourself being compelled to stop exercising before you even get tired, and all because of the horrible itching you are experiencing, you probably should mention chorionic urticaria to your doctor.
this condition is real, and it has deeply contributed to my weight issues, i mean, who wants to be told to keep on working out and suck up the burn? especially when you know you're not tired, just horribly itchy.
well, that's all i can add about the itch. if it doesn't help you, perhaps it will be that fiyah for the next brother or sister.
peace
