24 hours till Surgery/Observations/The Never Ending Post

this time tomorrow, i'll be on the table gettin cut. 

i just drank a 1/2 bottle of magnesium citrate (doctor's orders) and in about 5 minutes i'll be posting from the bathroom 

i'm just now noticing that EVERY OTHER tv commercial is advertising food....whichy  REALLY sucks cuz i'm on clear liquids.

i'm getting texts from everybody i know. some with well wishes, others sayin DON'T DO IT.....RECONSIDER....READ SOME LITERA-TURE ON THE SUBJECT....YOU SURE? F*CK IT.(bonus points if you know what song this comes from).

i've been droppin weight lately so in about a week, i won't be able to fit any of the jeans & slacks i wear now.  looks like i'll be hittin up the goodwill lookin for them deals.

the only thing that scares me is the thought of having a catheter.  can't they just hook me up with a Depends?

also, daytime tv is AWFUL.  i'm about to watch The Wire...which is the greatest series ever created.

this is the never ending post. i'll be coming in here to reply to myself at least twice an hour. sure its weird and semi-crazy but my mind's playin tricks on me and this is like therapy. i've really thought about callin up my surgeon and sayin THATS AIIGHT MAN, I WAS JUST PLAYIN....AINT NO WAY IMMA LETCHU CUT ME.....now, if you need me, i'll be at Phillips destroyin the buffet. Pass me them crab legs.

Just wait until after surgery.....if you think the commercials are bad now. I work in the advertising field and we air those commercials on purpose at those times.

i've always wondered why some religious people try to shove their religion down your throat.  is that really the best approach?

i prefer the drug dealer approach.....drug dealers let you know what they got, they let you know where they'll be, and they leave it up to the customer to come see them when they ready.

thats how religion should be. i know where you are....you in that big building on the corner.....i know when you'll be there....usually on sundays but sometimes during the week....thats all i need. i'll come see you when i'm ready.

I think we ALL remember what it feels like the day before WLS....many thoughts and feelings crossing through our mind and body. to Just know it's all "normal" and you're making a decision for YOUR health not anybody else...so they need to mind they're business

NOW...you may have seen me post this before cuz I'm like a damn broken record BUT here goes...

TO ME...WLS is 10 physical and 90% mental....dude get your head "right"....and don't worry about anything else! This is a PERSONAL journey....not a race...and it will last the rest of your life...so buckle up and enjoy the ride. Make the most of this and make it DO WHAT IT DO!!!

Yes wait until the surgery and see how many different kind of food
commercial.  TV is beginning to get on my last nerve.
