Lightweights vs. Heavyweights
This has been on my mind for some time. On occasion, I'll receive emails or hear folks tell me that surgery should not have been an option for me. Since I was not in the 300s or my BMI wasn't in the 50s, they insisted I was obviously doing it for vanity reasons.
*I* chose surgery so that I could live a healthy life...and to perhaps swing from dat pole one day.

HOWEVER.....
If I was the healthiest thang out there, having surgery would still be my #1 choice. Why do some feel the need to criticize others who decided to get a jump on their health now?
Now....to you mofos out there who have the balls to question me or my actions:
1. I'll still pray for you when you're struggling to lose those last pounds.
2. I'll still offer advice or encouragement.
3. Kiss my flat arse....I can thank my WLS for that one.

Jorge,
I'm not calling them "Haters" (I'm soooo feeling Mrs. Rhonda on that word).
As of late, I've been truly shocked by some of the comments. Granted, these are mofos that I wouldn't **** on if they were on fire, but it still hurts. What if I did attack back with "At least I knew when to back away from the table" type bullshiot? That mess would hurt just the same. But I can't, no I will NEVER put a person down because of their weight.
Support is support. Whether IRL or on the net. If you can't give it (or even constructive criticism) just keep it ****** moving...

Ok on the real I get that all of the time. Just had this conversation with someone this morning. No I don't have any real serious health problems right now. But I am well on my way. I have sleep apnea, My knees hurt and I am not being the best mommy I can be to my child because I have no energy to do anything at the end of the day but lay down. But all in all its really no one's business why we choose to have this surgery. I for one have found a lot of support on OH and BAF and for that I am very grateful. For everyone else they can kiss my big ol round arse!!! LOL. I doubt its going away even after WLS...

Sleep apnea is serious, please, please don't discount it.
Girl, I'm feeling you and I guarantee you it's going to change. Pretty soon you'll be that Moms with the "S" stamped on her chest.
I'm very vocal about my surgery. If the topic of obesity comes up, I gladly claim it and offer my doctor's number if they are contemplating WLS.
