Just How Much???
I just can't get a handle on it. I am 5 weeks out and don't know how many calories I should consume daily. My dietician really never discussed it. On average I consume about 600-800 cal/day. Also, I see if I consume more than 20 carbs/day, the scale moves the other way (and its not in my favor....yeah I have scale whoring it up yall).
Please, can someone share how many calories they consumed about a month out and if they pay attention to carbs as well?

GM, sweetie.
You are going to drive urself crazy a)counting all the calories and b)being a slave to the scale. If you consume more than 20 carbs / day, and the scale moves upwards, the solution is to ease up on the carbs, focus a bit more on the proteins and the veggies. If your pouch is working correctly (and I dont' know which procedure you had done) you are only going to physically be able to hold but so much anyway. So it goes back to what you are eating, hon.
Like I said, if the carbs are point the scale in the wrong direction, ease up on them and continue drinking your water. That is going to help as well.

"When Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer." Plutach. Not true, for there are always more worlds to conquer.

Hi Monie.
I do not count calories but if that would help you I would go to the RNY board and get info there...I had to take the battery out of my scale and only way once per week and it makes a huge difference...I do not count carbs either...I jus****ch what I eat and can barely eat carbs anyway...I eat fruit maybe once per day and I try to stick to proteins, green veggies, and I try not to make it boring...I did have a baked potatoe from Wendy's and that was okay but a treat..

At five weeks out, my goal was protein shakes and water. The shakes alone were roughly 350-400 cals per day. Other small (and I mean small) meals amounted to roughly 150...and that was on a good day.
I'm coming up on four months and I still struggle to get in my calories;
Here's a menu from when I was about five weeks out. This was before I started my push for more protein to help with my workouts.
