Oprah ...what ya think

Yes Kenya it was one of the best.

I truly believe that Oprah is gearing up for wls, so a good way to do that is to suddenly become an advocate. I actually hope that she does have surgery.

Thank you for your post cause I just tuned in and watched Oprah. I thought the same exact thing, she may be having surgery very soon and is trying to get as much info as possible because there's a weight/ surgery topic at least every week on her show now.

Star looks beautiful and its coming from the inside out. She is so humble and quiet and well spoken. She made me very proud to be getting ready to have wls.  

probably cause Oprah knows she's gonna have to eat all her nasty words and get cut.

I don'****ch Oprah as must as I did in the pass. But I love Starr telling them like it was this is not the easy way out.  Oprah looked like oh yeah  I too needs some sleep to get to bibles study tonight later.  Thanks for giving us the thumps up about the show yesterday are I would not have seen it at all.

I jus****ched it.

After the show,  I called my mom and asked her: do she understand now ?

I have struggled with my weight all  my life (yo-yo dieting) and so has my mother !!


I  did not even inform my family  that I had the surgery until I was about a month out !

I flew from  Ohio to Texas,  was in the hospital for 2 days and then flew back  to Ohio within 5 days and they never  even knew I had surgery !

That is how easy it was for me.

Now they  have a whole different take on WLS.

gurl I am glad that your Mother got it cause mine was sittin here making noise causing me to miss some of what was being said cause she didn't want to hear it on her own behalf. 

I was glued to the t.v. literally !!!    This was the best show I've seen in a long time.  Star brought it home (in her own season) but it was well worth the wait !!!!  She really hit everything on point, EVERYTHING !!!!!!!!!  For the first time in a while Oprah didn't interrupt her guest, over-talk her or anything.........she was all ears, because Star was totally real & transpant.  I think Oprah might be re-thinking  her whole bias on the WLS.  Time will tell..................................I've got to re-watch this tonight.  Just loved it........and I was so so INSPIRED !!!!  I actually totally forgot about the other guest being on once Star stepped on the stage !

STAR JONES..................you didn't want to be the "poster child for WLS"..........................but I think you have been crowned after today's Oprah show !!!!  Go Diva !!!!
