OT: Wednesday Bird Quiz #1

What kind of birds are these...and what the heck are they doing??? 

This is a bird that many folks don't get a chance to see...and folks will actually pay for me (or cover my expenses) to give them the opportunity to see this great bird.  (Very interesting and unique bird...by sight and sound.)

Somebody sure does have a certain "activity" on the brain a lot, lol.

...it's part of birdwatching...LOL.

(when i was on the east coast a few weeks back...i actually saw two bald eagles "doing the do".  talk about "rough sex".  there were talons, beaks, and feathers all over the place...(and that was just the male bird.)

Birdman I have a question.  Why do some chickens lay brown and some lay white eggs? 

depends on the breed of chicken ricajb.  most breeds that we get our eggs from lay white eggs...but some lay brown eggs.  some breeds of chickens actually lay olive green and turqois...(but i don't think that color egg would sell well in our culture)
