bmi isn't high enough for the sleeve for insurance to pay for b/c the band and rny are wls procedures, the sleeve isn't, it's a treatment for stomach cancer that surgeons happened to note had drastic weight loss as a result. so ins companies get to call it "experimental" b/c its original intended use wasn't for obesity. co-signing errybody else, it's a pretty personal decision - i woulda chosen a different type if i hadn't been a self pay. good luck!!!
